this is just a quick one. i have finally changed the title of the blog which has been annoying me for ages. but no photos unfortunately.
we are now in tuscany.
we managed to find the seedy underbelly of tuscany (i know, who knew it existed?) for a couple of days, but we are now fully ensconced in the heart of the touristy Il Chianti region.
anyway, just letting you know we are not in a ditch somewhere. one day i will get some photos up.

'Seedy Tuscan underbelly' sounds a lot more exciting than "Sydney in total "lockdown" mode" thanks to George Bush and friends! Apparently the word "lockdown" is going to be included in the next edition of the macquarie dictionary, so perhaps the government is thinking of it as a great way to solve urban problems.
So..keep enjoying the vino and pasta!

We are so looking forward to the pics. Mother is longing to see Monica.
Is it warm still in Tuscany yes I would love to see Sienna - the cathedral is sort of chequered isn't it? Carravagio lived there too I think.
